NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) OF DORSET LAKE COMMUNITY (DLC)

7.00pm Assemble for 7.15 Start

This year’s meeting is being held in summer as an opportunity to mix with members, committee and councillors in a social environment. Drinks are available from the cash bar before and after the event.

1. 1. Introduction and welcome, In attendance and apologies
   2. To adopt the minutes of last Annual General Meeting – 7th November 2024 and matters arising.
   3.  To adopt the audited accounts for the financial year ended 31 December 2024 and reappoint John Capel as Honorary Auditor.
   4. Treasurers report for period to 30th June 2025 – Alasdair Bavister.
   5. To receive and adopt the Annual Report of the Committee for the period ending 30th June 2025
   6. Re-election of Committee as listed in the Annual Report and proposals for new appointments.
   7. Chair’s Report – Graham Whitehall
   8. Vice-Chairman’s report – Anthony Vickery: to include update on the Lilliput Neighbourhood Forum, ward improvement grants and CIL grants.

1. 1. Esther Sheppard, Head of Customer Relations, Marjorie House, Crichel Mount Road, Evening Hill, Poole (15 mins)
   2. David Sidwick, Police and Crime Commissioner for Dorset – to include speeding and anti-social behaviour in Sandbanks Road and measures to counter it (30 mins)
   3. Councillors Question & Answer session: Depending on who is available from:
      Councillors; Gavin Wright/John Challinor – Canford Cliffs Ward,
      Oliver Walters/Jo Clements – Penn Hill Ward,
      Crispin Goodall/Emily Harman – Parkstone Ward. (30mins)
